Here are some of our favorite healthy alternatives to the traditional Super Bowl snacks.
Vegetarian Black Bean Dip
This delicious dip is packed with flavor, while being low in calories and fat. To make it, you’ll need one can of black beans, one can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, one cup of salsa, one teaspoon of chili powder, one teaspoon of cumin, one teaspoon of garlic powder, and one tablespoon of lime juice. Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor and serve with baked tortilla chips for a tasty and healthy snack.
Eggplant Pizzas
These mini pizzas are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pizza. Cut an eggplant into thin slices, brush each slice with olive oil, and bake for about 20 minutes.
